During this weekend God shows up powerfully for each participant and server. Each person leaves having experienced God like never before. The Encounter is for those seeking……well, just that….to encounter God. It doesn’t matter if you are a strong believer who has loved God for the past 50 years or if you hate God or think he doesn’t exist. This weekend simply sets the stage for people to meet their maker.
Begins on a Friday evening and runs through Sunday evening. Total cost covers transportation, lodging, and meals.
You will be staying in dorms with twin bunk beds, bathrooms, showers, and air conditioning. Below is a suggested packing list: • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo….etc) • Sheet, blanket, pillow. • Casual clothes appropriate to the season • Flashlight • Ear plugs • Any and all medications you need • Towel • Sweater and warms clothes if necessary. Following the weekend we have optional local small groups designed to take the Freedom experienced during the Encounter and put it into action. |
